A 3 days training to 68 mtaa chairperson, 19 ward councilors and 10 councilors for special seats, 68 mtaa executive officers and 19 ward executive officers from all 19 wards namely Bangwe, Buhanda, Businde, Buzebazeba, Gungu, Kagera, Kasimbu, Kasingirima, Katubuka, Kibirizi, Kigoma, Kipampa, Kitongoni, Machinjioni, Majengo,Mwanga Kaskazini, Kusini, Rubuga and Rusimbi with 68 streets of Kigoma Ujiji Municipal council on their responsibilities and duties towards community development. Topics to be covered will include introduction to Local Government Authorities (LGAs); The role and responsibilities of VCPs in LGAs; The role and responsibilities of WEOs, Councilors' and other local leaders in LGAs; Communication and communication channels between VCPs/Ward Officials and their communities; Planning and Budgeting process in LGAs and Financial Management and Control at mtaa Level.
